This SMS Messaging Policy explains how UNPLUGD Technologies LLC (“UNPLUGD,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) sends and manages SMS communications through our platform.
By enrolling in UNPLUGD, enabling applicable messaging features, or receiving SMS messages triggered through the UNPLUGD service, you agree to this SMS Messaging Policy.
1. Program Description
UNPLUGD is a digital disconnection and presence-management platform designed to help users create healthier communication boundaries while remaining reachable when necessary.
As part of the UNPLUGD service, SMS messages may include:
• Account notifications
• Authentication and verification codes
• System alerts
• Service-related app notifications
• Status confirmations
• Customer support communications
• User-enabled automated away messages
UNPLUGD also allows enrolled users to enable an SMS auto-reply feature. When enabled, if a third party sends the first SMS message to an enrolled UNPLUGD user, UNPLUGD may send a single automated, non-marketing response on that user’s behalf indicating that the user is currently unavailable and displaying the user’s selected away message.
2. User Opt-In
UNPLUGD users may opt in to receive service-related SMS messages by:
• Signing up through the UNPLUGD mobile application or website
• Entering their mobile number during account registration
• Agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
• Enabling messaging or SMS auto-reply features within the UNPLUGD app or settings dashboard
By providing a mobile number and enabling applicable messaging features, users consent to receive SMS communications related to the UNPLUGD service.
For user-enabled auto-reply functionality, the recipient of the automated response is the individual who initiates the conversation by sending the first SMS message to an enrolled UNPLUGD user while that feature is active.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on how the Service is used, the user’s settings, and inbound message activity.
Messages may include:
• Account activity notifications
• Verification or authentication messages
• Service and system alerts
• Customer support communications
• A single automated away message sent in response to an inbound SMS when a user-enabled auto-reply feature is active
4. Opt-Out Instructions
Users and message recipients may opt out of receiving applicable SMS messages at any time.
To stop receiving messages:
Reply STOP to any message.
After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message. No further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again or reinitiate contact where applicable.

6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. Users and message recipients are responsible for any charges imposed by their mobile provider.
7. Supported Carriers and Delivery
SMS services may be delivered through major U.S. carriers and other mobile providers. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier limitations, network availability, device compatibility, or other technical issues.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Phone numbers, messaging records, and related information are handled in accordance with the UNPLUGD Privacy Policy available at:

UNPLUGD does not share, sell, rent, or disclose phone numbers, SMS consent records, or mobile opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
9. Non-Marketing Use
UNPLUGD’s SMS auto-reply functionality is intended for transactional and service-related communications only. UNPLUGD does not use this SMS program for unsolicited marketing, lead generation, or promotional messaging.
10. Changes to This Policy
UNPLUGD may update this SMS Messaging Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
