UNPLGD SMS Messaging Policy

UNPLGD is a digital disconnection and presence-management platform. This page describes how UNPLGD uses SMS messaging, how consent is obtained, and how recipients can manage their preferences.

UNPLGD SMS Auto-Reply

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

UNPLGD allows enrolled users to enable an automated SMS away message when they are unavailable, offline, or in Unplug Mode. When another person initiates contact by sending the first SMS message to an enrolled user while this feature is active, UNPLGD may send a single automated, non-marketing response on that user's behalf indicating that the user is currently unavailable.

These messages are:

  - Transactional and service-related

  - Triggered only by an inbound SMS from the sender

  - Not used for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes

HOW UNPLGD USERS OPT IN

UNPLGD users opt in to SMS features during account signup and onboarding by:

  - Providing their mobile phone number

  - Agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

  - Separately enabling the SMS auto-reply feature within the UNPLGD app

By providing a mobile number and enabling applicable messaging features, users consent to receive service-related SMS messages from UNPLGD.

HOW AUTOMATED AWAY MESSAGES WORK

When an enrolled UNPLGD user has the SMS auto-reply feature enabled, and another person initiates contact by sending the first SMS message to that user, UNPLGD may send a single automated reply on that user's behalf indicating they are currently unavailable.

The sender's act of initiating the text conversation constitutes their consent to receive a one-time automated reply. No message is ever sent to a recipient who has not first sent a message to the enrolled user. Each sender receives a maximum of one automated reply per session while the feature is active.

MESSAGE FREQUENCY

Message frequency varies based on user settings and inbound message activity. A single automated reply may be sent per session when a sender initiates contact while the enrolled user has the feature enabled.

MESSAGE AND DATA RATES

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

OPT-OUT

Reply STOP to opt out of receiving further automated SMS messages from UNPLGD. Opt-out requests are honored immediately and no further messages will be sent.
